Pauline Lee

Pauline Lee was a long standing and highly respected member of Elm Park Golf and Sports Club. 

Pauline was an elegant lady who was manager of Cassidys on Georges Street. Dunnes Stores took over Cassidys where Pauline remained on as manager. Dunnes Stores thought so highly of Pauline they subsequently moved her to manage Lavelles on Grafton Street.

Pauline died in the early seventies. Elizabeth McMahon of Dunnes Stores presented a trophy in her honour to be played for in Elm Park.

Elizabeth Cogan was the first person to win the Pauline Lee trophy and was delighted as she had know Pauline and considered her a true lady.

Pauline was a very popular member of Elm Park, a very well liked and respected lady.

The Pauline Lee Perpetual Trophy is played for annually by the Ladies in Elm Park.
